As part of the collective for SS15 the latest collection includes a collaboration with an extremely talented European abstract artist - Paul Pulszartti.

The new collection inspired by The Inner City Lifestyle & Suburban Street Art came across Pulszartti’s style & abstract techniques. Lulu Hayes particularly connected with Pulszartti in that all his pieces are also inspired by the nature of life - exploring personal life experiences, his work carries both emotion & expressionism through the form of mixed-media.

The original piece ‘Silent Memory’ was adapted in collaboration & designed with a fresh colour pallet for Lulu Hayes SS15’.

The graffiti style print featured beautifully with the rest of the collection bringing a vibrant energy to the catwalk. Creative Director Lucy Anne Hayes said ‘It has been amazing to collaborate & work with such talented artist on these designs, showcasing their work through the form of fashion.’

In November 1989 in Czechoslovakia Pulszarrti became the regional winner in modern art painting. To view more on his private collections his work can be found in galleries in - San Fransico, New York, London, Prague, Budapest & Bratislavia.

For those who missed the official launch party, or simply want to re-live the fabulous evening here is our official video and blog of the Lulu Hayes SS15 Collection Preview and Launch Party...

The SS15 launch party was attended by bloggers, journalists and fans of the Lulu Hayes brand who were eager and excited to see the new prints, styles and cuts for themselves - before anyone else! Guests at the event hosted by Waterfront Bar & Kitchen in central London were treated to panoramic views of the iconic London skyline which complimented the new collection perfectly.

Everyone was surprised to see that in a departure from last year's organic, landscape inspired prints, this year's inspiration was based on the inner city lifestyle, urban architecture and collective street art.

Blogger and stylist The Gentleman Next Door said "The collection skillfully uses digital print to evoke a cool urban chic look". Blogger Bryony from Design Mischief also said that the collection features "gutsy urban artwork"

As models arrived and saw the collection for the first time, Make-Up Artist Amy Revelle created an understated, au-natural look to compliment the vibrant prints.

Film Director Tom Sands also captured the behind the scenes preparations and interviewed key personnel from Lulu Hayes including: Creative Director & Designer Lucy Anne Hayes, Stylist Gillian Scholes, Online Marketing Manager Emma Dixon, Sales Director Emily O’Connor and Model Jessica Parson

As the evening got underway, special guest DJ Devstar turned up the volume and the music pumped while the models strutted the catwalk, chatted to guests and browsed the new rails.

This year's collection also featured a new Menswear line with prints which were described by blogger The Gentleman Next Door as "thought provoking" and the cut "nicely fitted".

Guests perused the collection and were able to place pre-orders on the night for their favourite pieces. Journalist Morwenna Jones said of her favourites "the dress would be perfect for drifting around town, garden parties and even as a cocktail dress while the vest and trousers would be ideal for a summer festival or party".

The evening finished with an exclusive Lulu Hayes goody bag featuring luxury skincare products from sponsors ESPA Skincare, beautiful bracelets from Noah Fay and healthy treats from Bounce, Metcalfes Skinny Popcorn and Redbull.

Brand Creative Director & Designer Lucy Anne Hayes took to the stage to extend a big Thank You to all who attended the event and support the brand.

Panoramic views of London's iconic skyline provided a fitting backdrop last night to the Lulu Hayes 2015 collection preview and launch party.

Before the party opened to the public The Waterfront Bar was a hive of activity, with models receiving instructions and finishing touches, and key figures from Lulu Hayes being interviewed for a brand video.

This new collection has influences in graphic art and urban architecture, and features contributions from artists Eelco Maan and Paul Pulszartti. The Shard, the Oxo Tower and the London Eye lit up the background, complimenting a collection which blurs the lines between art and fashion.

Lulu Hayes also revealed an exciting new partnership with Gormley and Gamble - London's exclusive women's tailors. The addition of a Lulu Hayes silk lining to these beautifully crafted suits adds a personal and feminine touch.

VIP guests were treated to complimentary champagne and an exclusive goody bad featuring luxury samples and a gift card from main sponsors ESPA Skincare as well as treats from Metcalf's skinny popcorn, Bounce energy balls and for some lucky recipients - a Noah Fay bracelet.

Official photographs, videos and a full round-up of news from the event will be posted soon.
